This is the only DVD about the Wallowa country on the market and is complete with narrative interpretation which guides you through the scenery, history and geology of the area. Discover the adventure that is the Wallowa Valley-a place of unparalleled beauty and serenity, stretching from the Minam and Grande Ronde Rivers to the Idaho border. You'll view alpine mountains, lush forests, rolling foothills and green valleys along Oregon Highway 82 and sections of the Hells Canyon All American Road and Oregon Scenic Byway, with a special side trip to the Imanah canyon country. Several portions feature information on Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce tribe as well as the towns of Wallowa, Lostine, Enterprise and Joseph, Wallowa Lake and Imnaha. You'll visit a place where old and new coexist side by side, a place some say feels like coming home even though they've never lived here.

viewing pleasure not variety identification.

The DVD version has about 100 photos set to flute and mixed orchestra music. It is under 20 minutes long.

The Screensaver will work on both Mac and PC platforms and contains about 70 photos, with no music.
